Privacy Policy

Honk is designed to be private by default. The app runs entirely on your Mac using on-device AI. This page explains what that means in practice.

Your webcam

Honk uses your Mac's camera to detect the hand-to-mouth drinking motion. All processing happens locally on your computer using Apple's on-device Vision framework. No images or video are captured, saved, or transmitted. Honk reads only motion landmarks in memory and discards them immediately; it never stores a frame and never needs an internet connection to work.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist on this website, we collect only the email address you submit, and use it solely to notify you about Honk's launch. We don't sell it or share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing us.

Analytics

This website may use privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics to count visits in aggregate. It does not track you across sites or build an advertising profile.
